About the IMSA Hall of Fame

Launched in 2023, the IMSA Hall of Fame celebrates more than 50 years of North American sports car racing excellence in an exclusive, online environment. The difference between the IMSA Hall of Fame and other halls of fame from the worlds of sports and entertainment is the IMSA Hall of Fame recognizes not only the personalities and competitors who achieved greatness in the sport, but also includes iconic race cars among its annual group of inductees.

Inductees are selected from a nomination committee that includes past and present members of the IMSA and NASCAR senior management teams, as well as a rotating group of media members with intimate knowledge of IMSA’s rich history and the accomplishments of competitors and race cars alike. Beginning in 2023, each IMSA Hall of Fame class is inducted as part of WeatherTech Night of Champions, which annually brings the industry together to honor IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season champions and celebrate accomplishments and great moments from the recently completed season.
